
CRL has expertise to predict performance of high subsonic cruise flight which involves shocks. CRL participated in NASA’s 4th Drag Prediction workshop in 2009. CRL generated large grids ranging from 3 million to 35 million for common research model plane. Over 50 cases on 35 million mesh are being simulated on supercomputer 'eka'.

CRL has expertise in High Lift System simulations and worked with Boeing on collaborative research projects, “NASA Trapezoidal Wing High Lift Simulations” and “Boeing 777 High Lift Simulations”. References:
